Our latest find is a unique one. A 1972 BMW 2002 with a newer motor swapped out of a 1988 M3.
This 1972 BMW 2002 is an early round tail light example that has been extensively modified for fast road use, most notably with an S14 engine swap from a 1988 M3 and a 5-speed transmission. The conversion was professionally done by Racecraftin Woodinville, WA and included brake and suspension upgrades to accompany the additional power. Popularly known as an “M2”, the S14 engine swap provides nearly twice the horsepower of the original engine in a significantly lighter chassis than the E30. The seller has owned the car for over 15 years.
